Experience iPad Style Facebook On Chrome Using Facepad

The Facepad extension actually looks, acts & feels like you are using Facebook on your iPad. It also Notifies you when new emails arrives & it displays the number of unread messages. just one click and you can read a message, reply or compose new message.




There's not a lot more to say about. All you need is a login to Facebook as usual and the Facepad will work for you, even if you navigate away or close the Facebook tab. The Facepad checks your Facebook inbox at the interval that you specified and displays the total number of new and unread messages with a little badge on the toolbar button.



You can also enable notifications, and a fade-in window brings the new and unread email counts to your desktop. Set an alert sound that notifies you when new messages arrive. By clicking on Facepad button in your Chrome toolbar you can access all of Facebook's functionality in a small window that looks like Facebook on an iPad. Add 'Facepad' extension to your Google Chrome.

"Sorry your operating system is not supported just yet."

The link was to Chrome Web Store and "is only avail on Windows, Mac and Linux." Too bad.

Beta channel has been updated to 24.0.1312.27

Another rapid update is coming from Google Chrome Releases.
