How To Get Desktop Voice Notification From Gmail

For the most of the busy Gmail users & Internet geeks, having a Gmail notification icon in their menu bar or task bar is actually depends on whether they are using Linux, Mac OS X or Windows. We have also tried out numerous extensions for Chrome browsers to accomplish the same task, since I almost always have a web browser open.

But from all of the Gmail notifiers Chrome extensions, I just love 'Checker Plus for Gmail' the most. Why? Just go through below article to know the reason:

Checker Plus for Gmail displays new emails that arrives on your Gmail account when you are logged-in. It also displays the sender's contact photo. You will start getting desktop notifications after successful installation & the most interesting part that forces us to like the app is, we can actually listen the whole email without reading it.

Doesn't matter whatever you are doing on your computer with different browser tabs or system task, but you must have to be logged-in to your Gmail account.  Even you can delete it from your desktop without using official Gmail client.

Simply, that extension gives you fastest way to empty your Gmail inbox. You can change the generated voice by adding TTS (text to speech) voice extensions. This Gmail notifier has more than 10 different icon sets, 7 you can choose your favorite from them. You will get an option to open "Mail to" links in your Gmail instead of opening your regular mail client.

This extension app support multiple Gmail and Google Apps accounts. You will get desktop sound or voice notifications when new mail arrives. You can also add your own sounds. When new mail arrives, the window will popup mail to preview, read, archive, mark as read or delete emails without leaving the current tab.

You can Zoom in and Zoom out the emails which contains large images. You will get an option to run the application in background when Google Chrome is closed and still you will get the new email alerts. It provides an option to monitor any Gmail or custom labels or even all mails.

If you get an email while your busy watching a movie or cooking dinner this extension can optionally read it out load with mentioning the sender, the email subject or even the message ie. "Email from Jason" or even "Jason says, dinner at my place".  Add 'Checker Plus for Gmail' to Google Chrome.
